How to Look Young Without Makeup

We all dream about a long, fulfilling life. But how many of us are working toward this dream? Whether you think your aging would naturally slow down, perhaps you are mistaken. Your diet, other environmental influences, and the amount of attention you pay to it exacerbate aging – stuff you can monitor.

And the best way to gracefully have healthier-looking skin and age is by taking care of your skin and taking a positive path. We also gathered some easy-to-follow tips in this article, which will help you look and remain younger.

Follow a Proper Routine

Not forget the three main skincare measures – washing, toning, and moisturizing. When you just continue your day or go to bed, adopt a good CTM schedule.

At the beginning of the day, thoroughly cleanse the face and wash it with a high-quality toner and moisturizer before putting on the makeup. Remove the powder, sebum, and dirt on your face and skin and moisturize it at night. It tends to tone down breakouts and dullness.

Using a special eye cream to maintain the surface of the undereye moisturized and to avoid fine lines and wrinkles. You can look older with puffy eyes and dark circles.

Use Light Therapy

Light therapy uses modern lighting technology to mimic the nutritious sunlight. It penetrates our skin and rejuvenates it. Many researchers have found out that light therapy for wrinkles can drastically change the outlook of one's skin. And the best part is that it doesn't come with any side-effects!

Carry Sunscreen

Constant exposure to UV rays accelerates skin aging and causes dark spots, freckles, hyperpigmentation, and wrinkles. Every time you step out during the day, apply sunscreen, even if it is cloudy!

Choose a sunscreen with a minimum level of SPF 30 and PA+ (or higher), since SPF only protects the skin from UVB rays. Sunscreens with PA+ ratings also protect against UVA rays.

Help Your Body Skin

The skin is much thinner on the back of your hands than on the rest of your body. And your hands will give away your age even though your face looks young! Apply sunscreen before going out on your hands and legs too.

Massage them regularly with hand-cream to prevent dry skin on your hands. It even holds fodder for the nails and cuticles. Apply generous amounts of moisturizer over your hands and legs at night. Use a body scrub to remove the dead skin cells once a week.

Moisturize Your Lips

Chapped, dry lips will make you look sluggish. Since the skin on your lips is much thinner, it ages quicker when not cared for. So, moisturize the lips with a good-quality lip balm until they reach the pillow. In the daytime, wear a lip balm with SPF.

Moisturize your lips always before applying the lipstick. This will protect them from any damage to the lipsticks caused by the chemicals.

Exfoliation Helps Your Skin

Your skin needs to remove the dead cells to make it easy to breathe and look new, and exfoliation can aid with the process. Twice or twice a week, you should use a wash or go for chemical peels.

Most skin clinics offer chemical peeling services (containing AHA and BHAs) that you can use to boost your skin radiance as recommended by your dermatologist.

Go Green!

Vegetables are filled with proteins, minerals, and essential nutrients. They contain antioxidants that reduce the risk of many illnesses and improve the quality of your skin.

A Japanese study showed that high consumption of green and yellow vegetables would increase skin elasticity and decrease wrinkles and skin aging.

Drink Bone Broth

They release collagen, which breaks down into gelatin when you cook meat and poultry bones for an extended period. Drinking this bone broth helps promote collagen production in your body, which will make your skin look younger.

Switch To Olive Oil

Olive oil is a trendy diet in Mediterranean countries. It is plentiful of monounsaturated fatty acids. It keeps the heart safe and reduces diabetes risk and other metabolic issues. It also promotes healthy aging and improves longevity.

Eat Fatty Fish

Like salmon, tuna, mackerel, and herring, fatty fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids help to reduce cardiovascular risk and to keep your heart healthy. They can also reduce the risk of inflammation due to exposure to UV-rays and have a photoprotective effect. They thus protect your skin from damage to the sun and from photoaging.

Eat Dark Chocolate

What a sweet relief! Chocolate contains flavonols that help reduce blood pressure and improve insulin sensitivity and artery functions, thus reducing heart disease risk. The cocoa flavonol also boosts blood flow to your skin. This means that the skin receives more nutrients and looks healthier and feels younger!

Relax And Take A Break

Stress reduces your quality of life and causes your body to become inflamed. As a result, you can develop health problems, including fatigue, a reduction in brain activity, diabetes, and metabolic disorders.

That may reflect on your face. Now, take a rest and unwind. Meditate, ride, spend time with your children, watch a video, go out with friends, do something that allows you to relax.

Exercise

For that, you do not need to hit the gym. The intention is to keep going forward. It helps relax your body, keeps your weight stable, and alleviate tension.

Go trekking, hiking, dancing, or indulging in any sport that will offer a healthy workout. This will keep lifestyle diseases at bay-such as diabetes, obesity, and heart disease and make you look younger than your age!
